It gathered together 32 hierarchs carrying out their archpastoral ministry in the USA.<\/p>\n<p>The Moscow Patriarchate was represented by Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, and Bishop Irinei of Sacramento, vicar of the Western American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in the Assembly were also hierarchs of the Patriarchates of Constantinople, Antioch, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, and of the Orthodox Church in America.<\/p>\n<p>The participants in the meeting discussed various issues pertaining to the evangelization of the younger generation in today\u2019s world. The Committee for Canonical Regional Planning presented a report on the cooperation between representatives of different Orthodox jurisdictions at the parish level in various regions of the United States.
