Mr. Igor Petrishenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus. They were joined in the meeting by Deacon Andrei Titushkin, DECR staff member.<\/p>\n<p>Metropolitan Hilarion warmly greeted the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission and noted a high level of relationships between the Moscow Patriarchate and the leadership of the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Petrishenko told the DECR chairman how important the visit of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to Belarus in 2015 was for its citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The participants in the meeting discussed some topical issues of cooperation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>DECR Communication Service<\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 21 June 2017, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate\u2019s Department for External Church Relations, met with H.E.
