The text of the message is given below.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Your Majesty,<\/p>\n<p>Please accept my cordial congratulations on your ascension to the throne of Kings of Thailand. Our countries and peoples are linked by the bonds of long-standing good relationships established thanks to the personal friendship between the Russian Emperor Nicholas\u00a0II and King Rama V of Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Today there are over a dozen parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church acting in Thailand, in which the Thai and the Russian priests work together to take pastoral care of their flock. I hope that Your Majesty\u2019s Orthodox subjects will continue to facilitate the country\u2019s development and strengthen the ties between our peoples.
