Chief secretary of the Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church Bishop Naum of Stobia officiated in concelebration with the vicar of the Sofia metropolia Bishop John of Znepole, and clergymen of the metochion and the Sofia metropolia.<\/p>\n<p>At the dismissal, Bishop Ioann addressed the worshippers with archpastoral homily. He noted the importance of Archbishop Seraphim&#8217;s personality not only to the Russian Church, but also to the Bulgarian Church, as pilgrims come to his tomb from all corners of Bulgaria to venerate the archpastor and to ask for succour and prayers before the Lord&#8217;s Throne.<\/p>\n<p>Requiem service was celebrated at the tomb of Archbishop Seraphim.
