Present at the opening ceremony were Prime-Minister D. Medvedev, Minister of Culture V. Medinsky and Moscow Mayor S. Sobyanin.<\/p>\n
The 2016 multimedia exposition \u2018Russia \u2013 My History. 1945-2016\u2019 is the fourth and the last in the series of history exhibitions on \u2018Russia \u2013 My History\u2019 prepared by the Patriarchal Council for Culture. The three previous expositions \u2013 \u2018The Ryurikoviches\u2019, \u2018The Romanovs\u2019 and \u20181917-1945. From Great Upheavals to the Great Victory\u2019 are presented today at the history park \u2018Russia \u2013 My History\u2019 at the VDNH Pavilion 57.<\/p>\n
The Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God has been brought to the Manezh central hall for the time of the exhibition. President Putin and Patriarch Kirill put candles at this miracle-working icon and bowed before it.<\/p>\n
Then they saw the explosion. Explanations were given by Bishop Tikhon of Yegoryevsk, chairman of the Patriarchal Council for Culture.<\/p>\n
The president and the patriarch signed the honorary guest book. His Holiness wrote, \u2018Through clouds to stars! The clouds are gradually moving away with the stars becoming brighter. May the Lord bless the movement of our people forward\u2019.<\/p>\n
On its first day, the exhibition was visited by state officials, hierarchs and heads of synodal departments of the Russian Orthodox Church, leaders of religious communities and representatives of ethnic public associations in Russia and Local Orthodox Churches.<\/p>\n
