<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\nOn 3 October 2015, an international theological conference on \u201cSpiritual Heritage of Protopresbyter Vitaly Borovoy (1916-2008)\u201d was held at the Minsk Theological Seminary in commemoration of centenary of the birth of this renowned Orthodox priest, a teacher and spiritual leader who was well known all over the world.<\/p>\n
The conference began with the requiem service celebrated by Archbishop Guriy of Novogrudok and Slonim together with the ordained guests and teachers of the seminary. After the service a memorial plaque was unveiled.<\/p>\n
While opening the conference, Archbishop Guriy read out addresses sent by Metropolitan Pavel of Minsk and Zaslavsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, and by Metropolitan Philaret, an honorary Patriarchal Exarch.<\/p>\n
Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, deputy chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate\u2019s Department for External Church Relations, read out greetings from the chairman, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk.<\/p>\n
A video of Protopresbyter Borovoy was shown to the participants. Two plenary sessions were held during which reports were delivered and reminiscences shared.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
