The event was timed to the 70<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese invaders during World War II.<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in the ceremony were H.E. Mr. Kim Hyun Joon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation, and representatives of the National Academy of Philately and the Federal Agency of Communications (Rossvyaz). Rev. Vladimir Alexandrov, a staff member of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, represented the Russian Orthodox Church.<\/p>\n<p>After the ceremony of the cancellation of the postcard, the Ambassador of the Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea and the DECR representative warmly greeted all those present.
