Archbishop Hilarion’s book “Patriarch Kirill. His Life and World Outlook” is due to be presented at the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations

A new book by Archbishop Hilarion entitled Patriarch Kirill. His Life and World Outlook will be presented at the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations at 12.00 on 11 November 2009. The book was written in response to numerous requests from both church people and those who are far from the Church but who are interested in the personality of the new Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

The Patriarch’s judgments on basic issues of today are well known to those who follow closely the life of the Church. His thoughts expressed in various times, in various audiences and on various occasions are systematized in the new book.

Until now there has been no detailed biography of Patriarch Kirill except for an official list of his church ministries. The book published by the Eksmo Publishing House in eight thousand copies is to fill these gaps.
