Prayers for Submariners in all Kamchatka Churches

Prayer services for the rescue of the sailors of the ‘Priz’ minisubmarine have been celebrated in all churches in Kamchatka since August 4. According to the press service of the Petropavlosk and Kamchatka diocese, prayers for the submariners were offered up by regular parishioners and by sailors’ relatives.

Fr.Yaroslav, rector of Ss Peter and Paul Church said: ‘I shall never forget the eyes of the submariners’ wives, full of tears and hope. We are happy that our prayers were heard’.
