The Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church: having renounced Christianity, Europe is losing its identity

Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece said that Europe was losing its identity because of its deviation from Christianity.

‘Europe has betrayed Christianity and is facing the problem of survival’, the Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church said.

He criticized European political leaders and noted that ‘they renounced Christianity in the Constitution for Europe as a major source of its culture’, Church News Agency reports.
