Servicemen of the Pskov expeditionary division were told about the Nativity of Christ

On 25 December 2005, a talk about the meaning of the Gospel event of the Nativity of Christ and church traditions was held in a regiment of the 76^th Pskov division. Rev.Vassily Andreyev of the church of St.Alexander Nevsky conducted the talk with the servicemen.

Meetings with the landing troops servicemen are held with the blessing of Archbishop Evsevy of Pskov and Velikie Luki in the framework of traditional readings dedicated to the Holy and Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky.

The servicemen of this regiment have recently took part in the procession of the Cross to the burial place of the members of Prince Alexander Nevsky’s armed force on the shore of Chudskoe Ozero.
