У храма Русской Православной Церкви в Панаме сооружена звонница

Small bell tower to commemorate the establishment of the Russian Orthodox parish in Panama was set up near the parochial house on the initiative and donations of the RF Ambassador and embassy’s staff-members.

The local architect constructed the bell tower shaped as a traditional Russian church. The icon of the Protecting Veil of the Mother of God covered with glass and a small brass bell with inscriptions ‘Most Holy Mother of God, save us!’ and ‘the Russian Orthodox Church’ are placed in its bay. The bell tower is also provided with an electric lightening.

Present in the consecration and opening ceremony were Ambassador of Russia to Panama, staff members of the embassy and numerous parishioners.
