Orthodox prayer book in the Tatar language to be published in the Raifa Monastery

The Department of Publications of the Raifa Monastery of the Nativity of the Mother of God prepared a short prayer book in the Tatar language with the blessing of the abbot, archimandrite Vsevolod (Zakharov).

This diligent work took over two months. The translation of prayers in the Tatar language has existed, but because of excessive stylization was not comfortable for reading. Now the prayers are presented in the national orthography well known by the Orthodox Tatars, press service of the Raifa Monastery reports.

The Orthodox prayer book in Tatar includes the main Christian prayers and Psalms.

The prayer book will go to printing in the immediate future, and then the parishioners will find it in the bookshop of the Monastery and its representations.
