Meeting of working group for holding exhibition on Millennium of Russian Pilgrimage

The working group for holding an exhibition devoted to the Millennium of the Russian Pilgrimage met on December 25 at the Department for External Church Relations. It was chaired by the vice-chairman of the department, Bishop Mark of Yegoryevsk. It was agreed to hold the exhibition in November/December 2009.

The meeting was attended, among others, by V. Karasev, adviser to the minister for culture and mass communications, S. Zhitnev, general director of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Pilgrimage Center, A. Shkurko, director of the State Museum of History, and N. Lisovoy, deputy chairman of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society.
