Seminars on resisting Human Traffic held in Chernovtsy

m 30 January to 1 February 2007 employees of the All-Ukraine charity fund ‘Faith. Hope. Love’, created on basis of the Synodal Department for Charity and Social Ministry of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, held seminars on resisting human traffic and role of the Church in counter-abduction measures and rehabilitation of victims of violence. The event was supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The seminars were held at the Theological Institute of Chernovtsy, Pochaev Seminary and Krementsk Regency Department of Pochaev Seminary.

Such trainings not only provide infotainment and coverage of topical problems, but also facilitate real work. At present it is planned to create an Orthodox Rehabilitation Centre for women released from slavery.
