Bishop Artemije of Raska-Prizren thanks Moscow for assistance in constructing houses for the Serbian refugees in Kosovo

The ruling bishop of Kosovo and Metochia Artemije of Raska-Prizren thanked the Muscovites for assistance in constructing houses to replace the destroyed during the hostilities, Interfax reports.
‘We are grateful to our brothers the Russians, Moscow mayor and all those who have helped the Serbs return to their homeland, bishop Artemije said to the members of the Russian delegation that arrived in Serbia on January 19 to participate in a the ceremony of handing over the keys of seventy-one houses built at the expense of the Muscovites for the refugees in Kosovo and Metochia, Republic of Serbia. The delegation, led by chairman of the Moscow Duma Vladimir Platonov, consisted of first deputy mayor in the Moscow government Iosif Ordzhonikidze and other officials.
Bishop Artemije remarked that the houses built in the villages of Istok and Osojany are the ‘real present on the eve of a great Christian feast.’ He greeted all those present with the Epiphany, saying that “God Himself has blessed the friendship between Russia and Serbia.’
