The Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church continues its work

The session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church continued its work in the Patriarch’s working residence in Chisty pereulok in Moscow on 19 July 2006.

Taking part in the session chaired by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy are Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine, Metropolitan Vladimir of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, Metropolitan Philaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, Metropolitan Juvenaly of Krutitsy and Kolomna, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for external church relations Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate Metropolitan Clement of Kaluga and Borovsk, Metropolitan Vladimir of Kishinev and All Moldova, Archbishop Philaret of Penza and Kuznetsk, Archbishop Kirill of Yaroslavl and Rostov, Bishop Guriy of Novogrudok and Lida, Bishop Maxim of Barnaul and Altai and Bishop Feodosy of Tambov and Michurinsk.
