The Parish Meeting of the London Cathedral confirms its loyalty to the Moscow Patriarchate

On the 25th of June, 2006, there was a Parish Meeting of the London Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God and All Saints. The meeting with one accord confirmed the loyalty of the parish to the Russian Orthodox Church. Archbishop Innokenty of Korsun called upon the members of the meeting to take an active part in the life of the Diocese of Sourozh and of the parish and to work for the building up of unity and mutual understanding.

A decision was taken at the meeting about marking the 50th anniversary of the Cathedral in mid-October. An organising committee headed by the Dean of the Cathedral, Archpriest John Lee, was established to prepare for the anniversary celebrations.
