Graduation act in the Zhitomir military institute of radioelectronics begins with a prayer service

On 21 June 2006, a graduation act took place in the Zhitomir military institute of radioelectronics named after Sergei Korolev. A cleric of the Zhitomir Cathedral of the Transfiguration archimandrite Iakov (Shumov) participated in it with the blessing of Bishop Guriy of Zhitomir and Novograd-Volynsky. Rev. Iakov celebrated a thanksgiving prayer service and sprinkled the graduates and their parents with holy water.

Rev. Iakov called upon the graduates to remember that there is no more noble duty that to defend the neighbour and the Motherland.
