Bishop Mark of Yegoryevsk attends the celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of the Institute for the CIS Countries

A conference on Yesterday and Tomorrow. Cooperation and Struggle in Post-Soviet Space took place on June 15, 2006, at the Moscow Government building. It was planned to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Institute for the CIS Countries.
Among the participants in the conference was Bishop Mark of Yegoryevsk, vice-chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations, who brought to the conference a message from His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia and presented Mr. K. Zatulin, director of the institute, with an icon of Our Lady of Kazan, on behalf of His Holiness.
