New cupolas installed on the church of the Transfiguration in the Omsk Region

The Orthodox Christians in the Pavlograd district in the Omsk Region rejoiced when four new cupolas were installed on their church of the Transfiguration. Now the church is crowned with five golden ‘onion-shape’ cupolas, RIA/Siberia reports.

As reported by the regional department for the mass media, the painstaking work of cupola-making was carried out by S. Temnikov who studied this trade in the Achair Monastery. Before the cupolas were lifted up, they were blessed by the rector of the Parish, Father Alexander Dobrovolsky.
