Charity meals to be organized for 40 thousand low-income Muscovite during Easter

Larisa Korzhneva of the Moscow department for consumer market has informed an ITAR-TASS correspondent that during Easter, festive charitable meals will be arranged for 40 thousand low-income Muscovites.

She said 120 social service centers would arrange festive charitable lunches and tea-drinking parties for three weeks beginning from April 23. Over 400 dining rooms and cafes will organize Easter meals for 15 thousand pensioners, disabled and war veterans. During the repasts, they will be addressed by clergy. Elderly people will be given Easter cakes.
