Smolensk diocesan council considers missionary service

The clergy of the Smolensk diocese made confession on April 14, 2006. It began after the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts celebrated by Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad at the Cathedral of the Dormition.
After that, the diocesan council chaired by the ruling bishop held a meeting devoted to the establishment of a system of missionary service in the diocese.
