His Holiness Patriarch Alexy meets President of the Russian Academy of Education N. D. Nikandrov

On 13 April 2006, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church received President of the Russian Academy of Education N.Nikandrov. The meeting took place in the patriarchal residence in Chisty pereulok.

They discussed cooperation of the Russian Orthodox Church with educational establishments, for instance in the educational readings ‘Role of a Teacher in Spiritual and Moral Development of Society’ to be held by the Central Federal District in Kaluga next September. It is planned to nominate people for a new award ‘For Teacher’s Moral Exploit’.
