Church of the Annunciation of the Holy Virgin is consecrated in Uzhgorod

On April 7, Bishop Agapit of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod officiated at the festive Divine Liturgy in the Resurrection Monastery in Uzhgorod. After the service Bishop Agapit consecrated a winter church of the Annunciation of the Holy Virgin. He thanked the abbot, hegumen Petr, and the brethren for their labours.
The Resurrection Monastery was founded in 2003 with two open churches, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church press service reports.
