A new bell-tower to be built in Solovki Islands

The official website of the Solovki Monastery has reported that the Solovki has been recently visited by the chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Church-Ringers Society and Senor Bell Ringer of the Moscow Kremlin and the Church of Christ the Savior, Igor Konovalov. The visit took place under the project for a new bell tower in the Solovki Monastery.

During his visit, the scheme for hanging the bells was determined and the decision was made to build a temporary bell tower. Moreover, Igor Vinogradov conducted several classes for the monastery’s bell ringers.
