A clergyman conducts tours to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and Moscow Kremlin for servicemen

On 18 March 2006, Deacon Alexei Zavarnov, head of the Internal Troops Sector of the Department for cooperation with armed forces and law-enforcement agencies, organized an excursion to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior for servicemen from the Intelligence Company of the Separate operative division of the Internal armed forces of the Russian Ministry for Internal Affairs. Fr. Alexei also conducted a tour to Moscow Kremlin for the servicemen from the ‘Rus’ detachment.

‘Pobeda.ru’ website reports that Fr. Alexei organizes such excursions every Saturday. Up to 80 servicemen usually participate in these short pilgrimages.
