Издан сборник документов, касающихся изъятия церковных ценностей в 1922 году

The Orthodox St. Tikhon’s University published a book entitled ‘Expropriation of church values in Moscow. Collection of documents from the archives of the Republic’s revolutionary war council’. It is a scientific publication of documents from the Russian state war archive on expropriating values from the capital’s churches.

The richly illustrated book has a detailed end matter. It is intended for historians, lecturers and students of secular and theological educational establishments as well as for the readers interested in history of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The edition is prepared by the Orthodox St. Tikhon’s University and Russian state war archive in accordance with the agreement on cooperation between the Archive and the Moscow Patriarchate of 18 December 2003, the University’s website reports.
