A book of sermons by Protopresbyter Vitaly Borovoy comes out

The collection of sermons by Prof. Protopresbyter Vitaly Borovoy, one of the oldest priests of the Russian Orthodox Church, includes sermons he read in the period from 1974 to 1976 at the Patriarchal Church of the Epiphany, the Church of the Dormition and some other churches.

At a time when the Church was forced to be silent, Father Vitaly was one of few who brought an open and continual witness to Christ while speaking on the most burning problems the Church faced in her life. This book can be described as a textbook on Christian life because it strengthens faith, gives hope and teaches charity.

Most of the sermons are published for the first time. The book has been published by the Minor Orthodox Brotherhood of St. Sergius on the occasion of the 90th birthday of this prominent theologian and preacher of our days.
