Weekly Orthodox program to appear on Tver TV

An Orthodox program ‘The Road to the Church’ will be aired weekly on ‘TVTS-Tver’ channel, Tver Diocesan administration reported to ‘Interfax-Religion.’
The Diocesan Department for Mission will realize the project together with TV channel and the Tver Union of Orthodox laymen with the blessing of Archbishop Victor of Tver and Kashin.
The first issue of ‘The Road to the Church’ will be aired on January 8 during Christmas-tide.
A representative of the diocese quoted Archbishop of Tver and Kashin as saying that a new TV program should be a missionary and educational one for wide audience. The spiritual world of the human being and the historical role of Orthodoxy should be presented in the clear language understandable to everyone.
