Metropolitan Kirill expresses his condolences on tragic death of Mufti Gabdulla Shakaev and Mufti Ramazan Ishmuhametov in automobile accident

On 21 November 2005, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate sent a telegram of condolences to Talgat Tadjuddin, Chairman of the Central Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia on tragic death of Mufti Gabdulla Shakaev of Chelyabinsk Region and Mufti Ramazan Ishmuhametov of Kurgan Region.

Honorable Mufti,

It is with deep sorrow that I have learned about the death of your close coworkers Mufti Gabdulla Shakaev of Chelyabinsk Region and Mufti Ramazan Ishmuhametov of Kurgan Region in automobile accident.

Please accept my condolences and convey the words of sympathy to relatives and friends of the late muftis. May the memory of the worthy spiritual leaders be eternal and blessed.
