В Крыму прошли семинары по социальному служению Церкви

On 20 October 2005, seminars on the stop of human traffic and on the elaboration of a concept of social ministry of the Coordination committee for interchurch aid in Ukraine were held in the parish house at the Church of the Holy and Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky in Alupka (Crimea) with the blessing of His Beatitude Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine. Seminars were led by staff members of the Synodal department on social work and by Ms. Anna Klimenko of the above-mentioned Committee.

Several projects of church social ministry have been implemented in Ukraine, including the mentioned parish house at the Church of Alexander Nevsky in Alupka, home for the aged in the village of Lesnoselie, charity centre of social aid named after Archbishop Luke at the Holy Trinity convent in Simferopol.
