President of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Church Outside of Russia Metropolitan Laurus congratulates Metropolitan Kirill with the 625th anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo and thanks him for condolences with the demise of Bishop Alexander of Buenos-Aires and South America

On 27 September 2005, President of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Church Outside of Russia Metropolitan Laurus sent the following letter to Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate:

Please accept my profound gratitude for your condolences and prayers for the repose of the soul of Bishop Alexander who had worked a lot in the field of Christ.

We pray and believe that the Lord will bring about the new pillars like the deceased who will worthily do His works.

I cordially congratulate you on the feast of the Nativity of the Holy Virgin and the 625^th jubilee of the Battle of Kulikovo.
