Patriarch Alexy visits the ‘Sofrino’ Enterprise

His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia visited the ‘Sofrino’ Artistic Production Enterprise on the day of its 25^th anniversary on September 29, 2005.

The Primate of the Russian Church headed the celebrations. He conducted a thanksgiving service in Sofrino Church of St. Seraphin of Sarov and addressed the workers from the balcony of the bell tower.

Among those who came to congratulate the enterprise were: B. Gromov, governor of the Moscow Region, V. Bashkirtsev, head of the Pushkino District, members of the Holy Synod, and other hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Patriarch Alexy decorated E. Parkhaev, Director of the ‘Sofrino’ Enterprise, with the order of St. Seraphim of Sarov of the first degree.

B. Gromov awarded ‘Sofrino’ Enterprise with an honorary order of the governor of the Moscow Region.

His Holiness Patriarch Alexy and honorable guests visited the workshops where samples of artistic production were shown to them.
