Future militiamen from Nizni Novgorod help restore the Cave Monastery of the Ascension

Future militiamen help restore the Cave Monastery of the Ascension. A group of students come to work at the monastery every day during last two months.

The young people scavenge the territory and they have a lot of work to do as the churches of the monastery are restored. The students work three hours a day.

The Church of the Assumption, the Gate Church and the chambers are being restored at full speed and students’ help comes in handy, Father Superior Tikhon says.

‘I am grateful to the Rector of the Academy lieutenant-general Vyacheslav Kanygin for his help to our monastery’, Fr. Tikhon notes.
