His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II Expresses his Condolences with the Demise of King Fahd

On 2 August 2005 His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia sent the following telegramme of condolences with the demise of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia:

Please accept my condolences with the demise of His Majesty King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz al-Saudi.

His Majesty King Fahd was a wise state leader. We have always appreciated his friendly attitude to our country and the contribution, which he made to the development of dialogue and cooperation among people of different faiths.

May fond memories of the deceased be cherished by his people and throughout the world.
