A parish helps to raise money for a three year-old child to undergo a medical treatment

A small inhabitant of the town of Syserty in the Urals suffered a serious disease, a complicated heart trouble, from his birth. He needed an operation, which could be done only in Moscow. Much money was required to go to the capital city, to buy medicines and to ensure after-operation care of the child, which his parents did not have.

Parishioners of the Church of Sts Simeon the Host of God and Anna the Prophet helped to raise the necessary money.

People in Syserty lifted up an ardent prayer to Sts Simeon and Anna that the Lord might save and protect little Simeon. And the miracle happened as the little boy underwent a complex operation in the largest cardiosurgery institute. Now Simeon is already 4. He himself, his mum and dad and other relatives often come to the church to thank the Lord and the heavenly intercessors for their grace-giving help. The most ardent prayer is offered by the boy’s great-grandmother who used to sing in the choir of Sts Simeon and Anna’s.
