His Holiness Patriarch Alexy meets with Nuclear Power Minister A.Rumyantsev

His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia met with Nuclear Power Minister A. Rumyantsev, on July 18, 2005.

During their talk, which took place at the patriarchal chambers of St. Sergius’ Monastery of the Holy Trinity, they discussed cooperation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the ministry led by A. Rumyantsev. His Holiness made a special mention of the support that A. Rumyantsev gives to St. Sergius’ Monastery of the Trinity.

The primate of the Russian Orthodox Church congratulated his guest on the Day of the Discovery of the Relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh and presented him with an icon of St. Sergius and the book entitled ‘Ecumenical Patriarchs’ with a dedicatory inscription.
