Metropolitan Kirill Expressed his Condolences upon the demise of the Prime Minister of Georgia Z.V.Zhvania

Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, sent his condolences to the President of Georgia M.N.Saakashvili upon the demise of the Prime Minister of Georgia Z.V.Zhvania:

Your Excellency!

I was deeply grieved when I learned of the tragic demise of the Prime Minister of Georgia Z.V.Zhvania.

Zurab Vissarionovich was known as a consistent adherent of the constructive development of Georgia and the strengthening of good-neighborly relations with Russia. I hope that his peace initiatives in the settlement of conflicts will be developed.

May the All-Gracious Lord rest his soul in the heavenly mansions.
