A PHOTO-EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF REVIVING ST.DANIEL’S MONASTERY IS TO TAKE PLACE IN MOSCOW

A photo exhibition named ‘The First in Moscow’ is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the revival of the oldest Moscow monastery and is a part of the 700th commemoration of St. Daniel. It will be held at the Photo-center in Gogolevsky Brd.

Today, the monastery’s brotherhood combines prayers with a social ministry. The photographs reflect their every-day life and festivals, joy of common work and common prayer.

The exhibition will be open from 11a.m. to 7 p.m. from February 25 to March 2, 2003, at the Photo-center, Gogolevsky Brd. 8.

The opening ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on February 26. The concert of the choir of the Monastery of St. Daniel and the Rusichi musical ensemble will take place after it.
