PROHIBITION OF THE PROPAGANDA OF OCCULTISM IN MASS MEDIA AS A CONDITION FOR JOINING THE EUROPEAN UNION
From now on, every kind of direct or indirect propaganda of occultism is prohibited in the Rumanian mass media.
This prohibition is a condition for joining the European Union. The Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council has repeatedly stressed that it is extremely important to prevent the expansion of dangerous sects and pointed out in its official documents that member states of the European Council should impose this prohibition. Rumania has proved its determination to join the European family, although this decision was accompanied by violent protests of occult and esoteric sects.
For instance, the Rumanian National Association of Witches said that this prohibition represented a discrimination against the so-called white witches and should apply only to those who practice the black magic. At the same time, other “victims of the religious genocide” believe that it is Christian priests in their envy of the power of white magic who have organized the “witch hunting”.
