FORTY DAYS’ REQUIEM SERVICE FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE TERRORIST ACTS IN THE USA WILL BE HELD IN THE CHRIST THE SAVIOUR CATHEDRAL AND BROADCAST LIVE IN INTERNET

The requiem Divine liturgy and requiem office for the victims of the terrorist acts in the USA will be broadcast live on 20 October 2001 from 09.00 a.m.on the official site the Russian Orthodox Church (www.russian-orthodox-church.org.ru) and on the official site of the Christ the Saviour Cathedral (www.xxc.ru).

The requiem service will be conducted by Metropolitan Sergy of Solnechnogorsk, Chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate, upon the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia
