HIS BEATITUDE ARCHBISHOP CHRISTODOULOS PAYS A VISIT TO THE GREEK EMBASSY IN MOSCOW

On May 7, the Greek ambassador in Moscow, Mr. Dimitrios Kypreos gave a reception on the occasion of the official visit of a delegation of the Greek Orthodox Church led by His Beatitude Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece to the Russian Orthodox Church.

During the reception at the Greek embassy, His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia, His Beatitude Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece and Ambassador Dimitrios Kypreos had a talk.

Present at the reception were Metropolitans Juvenaly of Krutitsy and Kolomna, Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, Sergius of Solnechnogorsk, chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchate, Archbishops Clement of Kaluga and Borovsk and Arseny of Istra, as well as leaders of synodal departments, Moscow clergy, prominent Russian statesmen and public figures, and heads of diplomatic representations accredited in Moscow.
