HIS BEATITUDE ARCHBISHOP CHRISTODOULOS MEETS WITH METROPOLITAN KIRILL AND HIS STAFF AT THE DEPARTMENT FOR EXTERNAL CHURCH RELATIONS OF THE MOSCOW PATRIARCHATE
On May 7, His Beatitude Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece, accompanied by an official delegation of the Orthodox Church of Greece and Archbishop Panteleimon of Rostov and Novocherkassk, visited the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.
The Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church was welcomed by the chairman of the department, Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad. At the assembly hall of the DECR, the guests met with the leaders and staff of the DECR. This visit was widely covered by the ecclesiastical and secular mass media.
