His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II met Michel Camdessus

HIS HOLINESS PATRIARCH ALEXY II MET MICHEL CAMDESSUS

His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia met with the former IMF managing director Michel Camdessus on April 4, at the patriarchal residence in St. Daniel’s monastery. His Holiness warmly welcomed the guest who emphasized that each time he was in Moscow he tried to pay a visit to the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church. In conclusion of the meeting, which lasted for over half an hour, His Holiness gave to Mr. Camdessus a copy of the Basic Social Concept of the Russian Orthodox Church in English.
