METROPOLITAN KIRILL MEETS THE EDITORS OF THE TRUD NEWSPAPER

On March 5, Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, visited the Trud office at the invitation of its editors and staff.

He answered numerous questions from the journalists about the present condition of the Russian Orthodox Church, her relations with society and state and pressing problems of the interconfessional and interreligious dialogue.

A report on this meeting is planned to be published on March 14, when church and public events devoted to the 25th anniversary of Metropolitan Kirill’s episcopal ministry will be held.
