His Holiness met with families of the Kursk submarine crew

HIS HOLINESS MET WITH FAMILIES OF THE KURSK SUBMARINE CREW

His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia met with Kaliningrad Region Governor, Admiral V. Yegorov, and families of the sunken Kursk submariners on December 20 at St. Daniel’s monastery. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church gave his blessing to the submariners’ children for taking a rehabilitation rest organized with the participation of the Reconciliation and Accord foundation led by His Holiness.
