Jubilee celebrations at Ramenskoye

JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS AT RAMENSKOYE

Jubilee celebrations devoted to the 2000th anniversary of the Nativity of Christ will take place on June 25 in Ramenskoye, Moscow diocese. The celebrations will be led by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia.

The church and public festivities planned to coincide with the Day of the City, will be attended by Metropolitan Juvenaly of Krutitsy and Kolomna, Moscow regional governor Boris Gromov, Ramenskoye district leader V. Dyomin, and the clergy of the Moscow diocese.

9.00 Meeting His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia at the border of the Ramenskoye district.

9.30-12.30 Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Trinity in Ramenskoye.

12.30-13.15 Thanksgiving service, blessing of the Cross dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of the Nativity of Christ.Laying flowers at the monument to the Ramenskoye soldiers who fell in the Great Patriotic War, in Victory Square.

13.15-13.45 Visit to the Chapel of the Blessed Staritsa Matrona under construction.

16.15-16.45 Visit to the special pre-school orphanage in Ramenskoye.

17.00-18.30 Grand theatrical performance «Holy Russia, Keep the Orthodox Faith» at the Saturn stadium.

19.00 Brief meeting with journalists at the Saturn stadium.
