HIS HOLINESS PATRIARCH ALEXY II RECEIVED THE VATICAN’S STATE SECRETARY

On December 13 His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia received Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the State Secretary of the Holy See, who was accompanied by Archbishop John Bukowski, Representative of the Holy See in the Russian Federation, Mons. Timoty Broglio, adviser of the Holy See’s State Secretariat, Mons. Marek Solchnsky, secretary of the Representation of the Holy See in the Russian Federation, and Rev. Stanislaw Szlowieniec, staff member of the Holy See’s State Secretariat.

They were joined in their talk by Protopresbyter Mathew Stadniuk, secretary to His Holiness the Patriarch and rector of the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Epiphany, and hieromonk Hilarion (Alfeyev), DECR Secretary for Inter-Christian Relations.
