Visit of the Russian Orthodox Church delegation to Italy is postponed

VISIT OF THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH DELEGATION TO ITALY IS POSTPONED

Office of Communications of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate is authorized to state that due to the situation around Kosovo and the threats to bomb Serbia from the territory of Italy, a visit of the delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church headed by Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, which was to be paid on 25-26 March 1999, is postponed.
